A Tradition Inspired by Diamond Peak’s Ullr Fest
Every January, Diamond Peak Ski Resort hosts the famous Ullr Fest, where locals and visitors celebrate winter with parades, bonfires, live music, and a breathtaking torchlight procession down the slopes.
This tradition not only marks the start of the winter sports season but also raises funds for youth skiing programs, making it a staple in Tahoe’s winter calendar.
Now, South Lake Tahoe is keeping the Ullr spirit alive by hosting its own Ullr Fest at Tahoe Valley Campground on November 2nd.
This event will be a perfect warm-up for the ski season, bringing all the excitement and camaraderie of winter to the heart of South Lake Tahoe.
