North Lake Tahoe Oktoberfest Celebrations
The North Lake Tahoe region hosts its own Oktoberfest in two of its popular towns, Tahoe City and Palisades Tahoe.
Visitors can enjoy delicious food and drink, live music, and dancing, usually during the first weekend in October.
Tahoe City
The Tahoe City Oktoberfest is a much-anticipated annual event usually held in the renowned Gatekeeper’s Museum or /William B. Layton State Park in Tahoe City.
The event features a fun day celebrating all things autumn, including traditional German food and drink, live music, and dancing.
Thousands of people come from all over to attend the festival each year, making it one of the most popular events in the area.
It will be held from 12 to 5 p.m. on September 21st.
You can also join in fun games like the Stein squat, Yodel Contest, and Weiner toss, and explore the Vendor Village with artisan makers.
Kids will have a blast with activities like pumpkin painting, balloon twisting, and a coloring corner.
