Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a weekend warrior craving a shared challenge, the Lake Tahoe Relay promises an experience like no other.
For Everyone
Not everyone has to be a seasoned athlete to find their stride in this relay.
One participant affirms, “I’m not a seasoned runner, but the 7-person Relay felt achievable with my supportive team. We cheered each other on, and the sense of accomplishment was amazing.”
This inclusivity is exactly what another participant celebrates, stating, “This race is perfect for all levels, whether you’re a competitive runner or just looking for a fun challenge with friends. The different team options ensure everyone can find their perfect fit.”
The relay consists of a series of running and is open to teams of seven people.
This is an excellent opportunity to have a friendly competition with other teams in the country while also enjoying the magnificent scenery of Lake Tahoe.
Each course for the Tahoe Relay team takes approximately 8 to 12 miles running around the Lake.
The race will start at 5 am and last until 8 pm, at which point the course will be closed.
Tip: Get up to the lake a few days before you plan to run at a high altitude. Your body is likely used to a lot more oxygen than you’ll have access to here.
