Tahoe Paddle Racing- Series of Races
There will be plenty of chances for participants to show off their paddling prowess and compete with others in three different races.
The Paddle Jam
One of the highlights is the Paddle Jam, a summer favorite in North Shores Carnelian Bay. From seasoned paddlers to beginners, everyone will find something fun to do at the Paddle Jam.
The Paddle Jam 2024 will be held on June 29, and you can already register for the event on the Tahoe Paddle Racing’s official site. Register here.
There are three races to choose from: a 4-mile technical course, a 10-mile course, and a Grom race for children under 12.
Outriggers, surf skis, stand-up paddleboards, and prone paddleboards are all welcome, so grab your paddle and join in.
The race starts and ends at Waterman’s Landing in Carnelian Bay, which offers paddle craft storage for the weekend.
Tahoe Downwind Championship
The series also includes a downwind racing event that has happened last August 26, 2023. You can choose from 1-mile Grom, 3-mile, or 9-mile courses and enjoy the thrill of paddling with the lake’s winds.
