Quick answer: Bally’s Lake Tahoe Casino Resort, formerly MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa, is the hotel-casino at 55 Highway 50 in Stateline, Nevada. Bally’s Corporation bought it from Caesars Entertainment in 2021 and changed the name that November. You’ll find 420-square-foot rooms, suites up to 1,200 square feet, an indoor heated pool, a spa and Ciera Steak + Chophouse, and dogs and cats are welcome for a fee.

The old name was on this building for about 15 years. Bally’s Corporation bought the property from Caesars Entertainment in 2021, and in November of that year it changed the name to Bally’s Lake Tahoe and launched its Bally Rewards players club. The new Bally’s signs went up outside in June 2022.

The casino opened in 1978 as Park Tahoe. It spent many years as Caesars Tahoe before it took the name it carried until 2021, so longtime visitors may know it by any of those names.

You’ll find it at 55 Highway 50 in Stateline. Bally’s says Heavenly Mountain Resort is about three minutes away, Edgewood Tahoe golf course is about four minutes away, and Reno-Tahoe International Airport is about an hour’s drive.

Every room has Wi-Fi, a refrigerator, a safe and a large tiled shower. Suites run from the 600-square-foot Executive Suite to the 1,200-square-foot Tahoe and Sierra suites, which have living rooms and wet bars.

The indoor heated pool has a hot tub and an outdoor sun patio, and the fitness center is free for hotel guests. The spa offers massages, facials, body treatments, and hair and nail services daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. You need to be 18 or older to use the spa and fitness center.
