The spirit of the Emerald Isle comes alive every March at the Tahoe Douglas Rotary’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, a beloved community tradition for over 40 years. 

This festive event goes beyond shamrocks and green beer, offering a unique blend of Irish heritage, local appreciation, and fundraising fun.

This annual Lake Tahoe St. Patrick’s Day event is usually held in the middle of March. It is a time for people to come together and celebrate their Irish heritage. 

There is usually a parade, and a lot of green clothing is worn. Many people also attend parties and drink green beer.

The celebration kicks off with a heartfelt tribute to the brave police officers and firefighters who keep South Lake Tahoe safe.
