My stay there
I grew up in Kings Beach and always thought Cedar Glen Lodge looked so cute!
I finally stayed there a few years ago with my teenage kids, and it was wonderful! The beach is right across the street, and the owners are super friendly and welcoming. Our cabin had the perfect layout to accommodate 4 people comfortably. Everything was clean, and we had the best time!
Over the years, I have often thought of building a cabin modeled after the one we stayed in.

You can choose from its 14 contemporary rooms, 17 stylish cabins, or one of its four deluxe suites. All of the accommodations come with unique amenities to make your stay more comfortable.
Most of the rooms include all the basic amenities to provide lovely accommodations for guests.
The rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs, Wi-fi access, microwaves, mini-fridge, and even coffeemakers. This ensures that guests have everything they need to enjoy their stay.
Fantastic Grounds and Activities

Outside the cozy rooms are an expansive lawn with picnic tables and barbeque grills. The lawn also has a volleyball net and ping pong area for recreation while waiting for the barbecue.
Guests will also have access to an outdoor heated pool and sauna if they ever want to swim. And if the weather is good, the hotel usually holds campfires at the fire pit in one corner of the lawn.
Although Cedar Glen Lodge does not have an on-site restaurant, they serve a free delicious breakfast daily.
The breakfast usually consists of eggs, bacon, toast, oatmeal, muffins, coffee, and juice.
At night, you can get a few drinks at the hotel’s wine bar near the lobby, where you can relax after a long day of exploring Lake Tahoe.
