Ski School

And if you’re just starting out your skiing journey, the cross-country ski school at Tahoe Donner Resort is certified by the Professional Ski Instructors of America and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (PSIA-AASI).

They teach practical skills so you can ski with ease offering a variety of courses for all levels, from beginner to advanced. So you can learn the basics or improve your skiing technique!

“The small slopes and gentle inclines were perfect for our toddlers and preschoolers. They had a blast tubing down and laughing all the way,” one family appreciated the sledding area.

And, when it’s time for a break from these winter activities, they can savor a warm cup of hot chocolate and other delicacies.

After a day of fun on the mountain, visitors can enjoy a wonderful lunch at the Lodge Restaurant and Pub or visit the Trout Creek Recreation Center.

The restaurant offers a variety of delicious items to choose from, including sandwiches, burgers, salads, and soups. The recreation center features a heated pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room.

Tahoe Donner Ski Resort is only 35 miles from Reno, Nevada, but it feels like a world away.
