Lester Beach Lake Tahoe

Lester Beach is located in the western part of Lake Tahoe, which is linked with a shorter beach called Calawee Cove Beach. Both are sometimes referred to as Bliss Beach since they formed the park’s shoreline.

The two beaches offer stunning views of the lake and provide a perfect place to relax and enjoy the area’s natural beauty.

Parking passes are available for $10. You can find the parking area near the highway. Then, 2 miles from the highway may you’ll reach the beautiful beach.

The beach is truly a sight to behold with its clear blue water and soft white sand!

And, since the beach is not too far from the highway, getting there is relatively easy.

Tip: But, we suggest not bringing small children or individuals with difficulty walking, as the beach is a bit far from the parking area.

There are picnic tables, restrooms, and showers situated in accessible locations for guests. This allows visitors to enjoy the outdoors while having access to necessary amenities.

Tip: However, there are things that you should be aware of before plunging into the water. First, you must watch out for boats when swimming since Lester Beach has no dedicated swimming area.

Moreover, the beach is associated with a nearby campsite, so arriving early is a must to get the best spot on the beach.

Personal Tip: Parking spaces can also be a problem if you arrive late! Once the parking lot is filled to capacity, the only alternative options for parking are a three-kilometer walk away. So, make sure to get there as early as you can.

Although you are permitted to unload your equipment and visitors at the beach first.
